Widow Care

The mission of Widow Care is to provide desperately needed support services to Montgomery County residents facing or dealing with the loss of a spouse, so they can become empowered to carry on with their lives.

Widow Care operates locally by connecting neighbors with neighbors to strengthen communities. We channel the skills and generosity within a community to meet the needs of a population rarely considered and often forgotten. We connect compassionate volunteers with widows and widowers who desperately need help coping with every day tasks after loss. We also conduct educational programs to empower widowed individuals to become self-sustaining.
