  • Mission

The T22 McDuffie Foundation empowers youth navigating grief and loss to build connection, find strength, and discover the power to overcome—through creativity, movement, and a community built for healing.

    About Us

Founded in honor of Kansas City Chiefs Cornerback, Trent McDuffie's, older brother, who lost his battle with a respiratory condition leading to heart failure in 2015, the foundation continues Tyler’s legacy of inspiring youth in need of mental health support—guided by Trent’s powerful mantra, ‘Power 2 Overcome’.

With the establishment of the T22 McDuffie Foundation, Trent McDuffie extends his journey beyond personal healing to uplift and empower youth facing loss.

The foundation provides young individuals with the resources, support, and opportunities they need to navigate grief and rediscover their strength. Through transformative camps, mentorship programs, and community-driven events, the foundation fosters resilience, connection, and hope.

In a world that can often feel overwhelming, the T22 McDuffie Foundation stands as a beacon of strength, reminding young hearts that they are not alone. Guided by Trent’s mantra, "Power 2 Overcome," this mission is not solely about honoring his brother Tyler’s memory—it’s about carrying forward his legacy by helping others find their own path to healing.
