    About Us

    SixDegrees.Org is a 501c3 that has been harnessing good since 2007. It was founded by Golden Globe Winning Actor, Musician, and Philanthropist, Kevin Bacon on the principle that everyone is in need of connection.

    SixDegrees supports impactful initiatives to sustain and enrich local communities. Our work centers on youth empowerment, justice and equality, and improving a sustainable living environment. We listen to and prioritize the lived experiences of communities that are commonly underserved and under-resourced.

    SixDegrees is dedicated to creating dialogue, raising awareness, understanding, and empathy around causes that our communities care most about. SixDegrees One Degree Less Programs include Basic Kindness resource bags, causEvolve- production services for social impact storytelling, and DegreeShift - convener campaign activations.

    We develop partnerships and solutions by working collaboratively with local leaders, residents, and celebrities.
