    The Columbus Citizens Foundation, a non-profit organization located in New York City, has as its mission the promulgation of Italian-American heritage by providing educational opportunities through scholarship programs for deserving students of Italian-American descent, and fostering awareness and appreciation of Italian-American achievements through a broad spectrum of philanthropic and cultural activities. Since it's founding in 1929, the Foundation has organized New York City's Columbus Day Parade.
