Denver Urban Gardens
Since 1985, Denver Urban Gardens has offered neighborhoods the essential resources for community gardens, including design and planning, construction, leadership organization, fundraising, and long-term garden support. Denver Urban Gardens currently operates more than 135 community gardens throughout Metro Denver, including 40 school-based community gardens. In addition to building and supporting community gardens, Denver Urban Gardens operates DeLaney Community Farm, an urban community supported agriculture project, the Master Composter Training Program, the Master Community Gardener Training Program, the Free Seeds and Transplants Program and provides extensive education in nutrition and gardening in Denver schools.
