About Us
In its 42nd year, the Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra (EYSO) offers 400 middle and high school students the opportunity to play challenging music in orchestras and smaller chamber groups. Beyond advancing students’ musical abilities, the EYSO develops future leaders by strengthening listening, collaboration and analytical skills. The EYSO serves youth from more than 60 Chicagoland communities.
