High School Inc. Academies Foundation

High School Inc. Academies Foundation (HSI) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, whose mission is to empower youth and strengthen communities through education and business partnerships. Our core focus is to bridge the gap between education and workforce development. HSI is able to achieve this goal by supporting an effective high school education and workforce development program model that includes six college and career academies in high-growth, high-tech industries in STEAM fields.

High School Inc. Academies Foundation programs provides the following opportunities and much more to the students we serve: 

• Leadership and job skills workshop 
• Business and university visits 
• Overnight leadership camps
• Industry mentors 
• Professional internships 
• Skills and leadership competitions 
• Work-based Service Events

The program’s success is validated and demonstrated in HSI’s average 98% graduation rate. In addition, 70% of HSI program participants are not only the first in their family to graduate from high school, but 96% are also the first to attend college or obtain employment in an industry trade. Furthermore, a recent survey shows that 92% of HSI graduates report they will be pursuing a two-or four-year degree or vocational program.
