JLI L.A./Breakthrough activates student agency and voice through arts-based inquiry. At Lennox Middle School, the process uses journalism and creative writing. JLI L.A./Breakthrough currently serves approximately 250 students at two middle schools in South Los Angeles: Lennox Middle School and The Accelerated School.
