Health Literacy Ministry

Health Literacy Ministry is dedicated to being a community funded organization. We provide high blood pressure, heart failure, basic kidney disease and diabetes education to seniors 55 years of age and older in St. Louis City and some county areas based on need. Our desire is to improve disease self-management skills and promote a better quality of life. We are mobile and our services are free.

Health Literacy Ministry provides blood pressure screenings and health education in the community at health fairs, senior building, churches,etc. Our vision is to provide individualized educational plans that will raise the senior's awareness of high blood pressure, heart failure, kidney disease and diabetes. Seniors will develop skills to take control of their health which will lead to a healthy and prosperous life. We provide free blood pressure monitors, pill organizers,talking scales and finger probe pusle oximenters.
