YWCA Fort Worth & Tarrant County transforms lives of women, children and their families from poverty to independence through housing stability, high-quality affordable child care and financial empowerment services.

Housing Stability

YWCA Fort Worth & Tarrant County provides housing stability for women experiencing extreme poverty and homelessness through the YWCA's Residential Services for Women, the YWCA Shared Housing Program, and permanent supportive housing with the Direction's Home Program.

High-Quality Affordable Child Care

YWCA Fort Worth & Tarrant County provides high-quality subsidized child care for low-income families and free child care for children living in homelessness in three child development centers located within Tarrant County.

Financial Empowerment for Women

YWCA Fort Worth & Tarrant County interrupts the cycle of poverty and homelessness by educating women about healthy financial management and providing tools to save and grow their income.

Social Enterprise

YWCA's social enterprises are businesses that provide earned income for YWCA programs. The YWCA operates three social enterprise businesses: Power Lunch sandwich delivery service, Historic YWCA facility rental for weddings and events, and the YWCA Resale and reDesign Shop.
