Teaching Leaders

Teaching Leaders is an innovative and growing nonprofit organisation dedicated to growing a movement of outstanding middle leaders whose teams measurably raise pupil aspiration & achievement, and improve the life chances of children in urban schools. The programme was developed in partnership with four of the UK’s most forward thinking organisations: Absolute Return for Kids (ARK), the National College, Teach First and Future Leaders. The programme takes high-potential middle leaders on a two-year journey, providing intensive training, coaching and support enabling them to lead impact focused improvement initiatives within their schools. The programme launched its first cohort in August 2008 and will be recruiting its fourth cohort starting in March 2011. Teaching Leaders is currently based in London & the South East and is expanding both nationally and Internationally through our sister organisation Leading Educators.
