About Us
The Work In Progress (WIP) AmeriCorps Program is a partnership between four organizations: Rise, Inc., Opportunity Partners, AccessAbility, and Lifetrack Resources. Rise, Inc. is the legal host of the program. The program's mission is to eradicate unemployment, underemployment, poverty, homelessness, social isolation, and the economic dependency of people with disabilities, welfare recipients, and others with significant barriers to employment and community living. This includes people with diagnosed and undiagnosed disabilities, non-English speaking minorities, and others with challenges to job placement and self-sufficiency.
