The Community Voters Project

About Us

The Community Voters Project is a national non-profit, non-partisan organization that is dedicated to registering voters in historically underrepresented communities.

Since our start in 2004, we have helped to register nearly 600,000 African American and Latino voters. In 2016, we will help to register over 275,000 people to vote.

We'll be registering voters by street canvassing in communities of color. We'll be talking to people one-on-one at bus stops, outside of stores, at gas stations, and wherever else we can find high concentrations of unregistered voters -- and asking them to fill out a voter registration form right there on the street.
