    About Us

The Wilmington Community Clinic provides medical and health related services to a primarily spanish speaking population. Our community is largely underserved. Most of our participants are uninsured and low-income. Recently, we have started on a literacy campaign. Hoping to promote literacy to our patients while they wait to see the doctor. We are working with Reach out and Read an organization that helps us to provide books for our patients at their scheduled well child pediatric visits. We are also working with First 5 LA to expand and enhance our Pediatric and Prenatal services by providing Prenatal, Breastfeeding, Nutrition, and Parenting education. The need is great and our staff is small. We hope that with the help of volunteers to better meet the needs of this community.
