  • Mission

Welcoming the Newcomer Immigrant and Refugee Services Catholic Charities helps newcomers become self-sufficient and productive members of American society by offering a combination of legal immigration consultation and representation, English-language instruction, other adult education programs, workforce development training, naturalization assistance, bilingual community education, and refugee resettlement and assistance services.

    About Us

Resettling Refugees Since 1975 Refugee Services Migration and Refugee Services is one of the national affiliates of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. Last year, MRS provided services to about 3,000 refugees, both new arrivals and existing clients. All refugees who enter our program have undergone extensive background checks by the U.S. State Department. In addition, 89% of those whom we are currently assisting currently serve came to the United States after assisting the U.S. military abroad.
