The Association for Direct Instruction is a national organization based in Oregon, founded in 1981 to promote research validated instructional methods that result in an outstanding education for all students. We work with teachers and school administrators across the country, providing training and information about Direct Instruction; and we advocate throughout the entire education community to increase awareness of Direct Instruction as a powerful educational tool.
