Since 1989 we have served "of promise" youth ages 6-17 countywide referred by Chatham County Schools, Department of Social Services, Juvenile Justice, mental health providers,teachers, and parents. Many of these youth live in families struggling with poverty and have persistent emotional, health,or developmental needs that negatively impact relationships with educators and peers, and increase their risk for droppign out of school. Our services include: Mentoring, Teen Court, Community Service &Restitution, Family Adovcacy, CIS Model program and a CIS Youth Garden. Our main goal is to provide youth with targeted supports so they are able to succeed in school and become healthy , contributing members of the community.
