  • About Us

Ngorongoro Community Network (NCN) is a U.S.-based not for profit that supports the activities of grassroots organizations in northern Tanzania. Our collaborations focus on supporting work with, and led by, the Maasai living inside the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.We work in two areas located in the Arusha region. Our primary focus is with the pastoral Maasai living in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We also work with rural villages in the outskirts of Karatu, where the population is primarily composed of the Iraqw tribe. We partner with multiple organizations that work in the realms of health, education, gender, youth, and microfinance, all with community empowerment goals guiding the projects.
