Devereux is a leading nonprofit behavioral health organization that supports many of the most underserved and vulnerable members of our communities. Founded in 1912 by Helena Devereux, we operate a comprehensive national network of clinical, therapeutic, educational, and employment programs and services that positively impact the lives of tens of thousands of individuals and families every year. We help empower children and adults with intellectual, emotional, developmental, and behavioral challenges to lead fulfilling and rewarding lives.
Our services include residential and day treatment programs, community-based programs and housing, medical and hospitalization services, therapeutic foster care, counseling services, employment training, day schools, and respite care. Throughout all of these operations, we emphasize effective, evidence-based best practices to inspire each individual to build on his or her individual strengths and distinct potential to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives.
Our Philosophy of Care focuses on positive approaches, individualized services, and effective programs.
Devereux offers a variety of career opportunities, from entry-level to experienced. These opportunities include direct support, case management, nursing, teaching, clinical, as well as administrative, finance, business development, food services, transportation, and so much more. We’ve also been providing services for over 100 years, and operate 15 treatment networks in 11 states across the country (and continue to grow!).
