SCORE South Wisconsin

SCORE’s mission is to foster vibrant small business communities through mentoring and education. We connect entrepreneurs with experienced business professionals who share their knowledge, guidance and encouragement to help small businesses start, grow and succeed.

Our mission is powered by volunteers who believe that sharing their experience can make a meaningful difference—not only for individual entrepreneurs, but for the communities those businesses serve.

SCORE, America's premier source of free and confidential small business advice for entrepreneurs and small businesses, is a nonprofit resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

For over 60 years, SCORE's thousands of working and retired business professionals have volunteered to support the success of small business nationwide. SCORE business mentoring is free and confidential. The SE Wisconsin Chapter was named the 2024 Chapter of the Year.

We provide:

• Free, confidential business mentoring in person, via email or by video
• Volunteer mentors who share their expertise across industries
• Free business tools, templates and tips online
• Inexpensive or free business workshops (locally) and webinars (online 24/7)

When you volunteer with SCORE, you're not just giving your time. You're helping someone turn an idea into a business, helping a business overcome a challenge or helping an entrepreneur take the next step. Together, SCORE volunteers strengthen small businesses and the communities they call home.
