UPLIFTING HEALTH
Mission
We know that access to basic health tools is a privilege that not everyone can afford. And we understand that there are systematic barriers that are causing immense health disparities within our country. We aim to take down those barriers by promoting health equity. For us, this looks like collecting and donating necessary health items to those most in need and with the least access. This also means providing free services to promote healthy living for minorities. Our dream is to become an international organization that donates to third-world countries that are severely underresourced. Help these goals become a reality. About Us
Uplifting health was founded on May 16, 2023. As we we work towards building a more health equitable community, we have hosted numerous collection drives, collaborated with other nonprofits, and shared our stories. We have accomplished many things, such as fundraising $1,592, collecting 5,583 items for communities in need, and having over 60 volunteers at one of our events. As of right now, we are focused on expanding our impact beyond the Chicago area and are currently organizing a health screening event for the homeless and those who cannot easily access healthcare.
