About Us

A Dog's Tale is a non- profit animal rescue group dedicated to ending the staggering overpopulation of animals in Maricopa County.

Mission

The Mission of “A Dogs Tale” Animal Rescue is to increase awareness of the epidemic of animal cruelty and to inspire compassion within the hearts of humans through animal advocacy, rescue and re-homing efforts. “A Dog’s Tale” works collectively with the public, foster homes, and other animal partners to rescue and re-home dogs that have been neglected, abandoned or surrendered. The vision we see for our organization is to one day create the “Planned Parenthood” of spay and neuter clinics in order to make sterilization a government funded, no charge or sliding scale service to the public. “A Dog’s Tale” also plans to have mobile spay and neuter units to reach low income communities. In turn, we support the “No Kill Nation” movement and are dedicated to reforming our nation’s animal shelters and ending the systematic killing of healthy and treatable animals in our nations shelters.
