Fiji Theater Company aka Ping Chong & Company is dedicated to bringing the multidisciplinary creations of theatrical innovator Ping Chong to the stage for the enjoyment of multicultural audiences. Chong's works explore the intersections of race, culture, history, art, media and technology in the modern world. To this end, the Company collaborates with various organizations ranging from theater companies of all sizes, major performing arts centers, national and international festivals, colleges and universities, and community organizations serving diverse constituencies. Fiji Theater company was founded as a fluid but stable structure to support the work of Ping Chong, and to provide a home for his multi-racial core group of collaborators, with whom he works on a project-to-project basis.

The not-for-profit company regularly reaches diverse multi-ethnic audiences in New York, as well as around the country and the world. The company employs a small full time staff and maintains office and storage space in New York City.
