Yakima Valley Community Emergency Response Teams

To educate citizens to be better prepared to take care of themselves, family, friends and neighbors in the event of a disaster, of any type, until professional emergency responders can arrive. To establish a pool of trained volunteers to perform projects that improve a community’s preparedness as well as assist the local Emergency Operations Center during activation.
