NewFound Families is the Virginia adoptive, foster, and kinship family association. We provide educational, advocacy, and support services to families caring for children unable to live with their birth parents. We are a non-profit organization organized as a 501 (c)(3) status and recognized as a corporation by the Virginia State Corporation Commission.
We are a member of the North American Council on Adoptable Children and an affiliate of the National Foster Parent Association.
Our work demonstrates our belief that foster, adoptive, and kinship families are our best opportunity to secure strong futures for children and youth not living with their birth parents and that mutual support strengthens families and improves placement stability for children and youth.
