The Harvest Outreach People's Project (The HOPP) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing access to fresh produce while building healthier, more connected communities. Through a growing network of community partners, volunteers, and regional hubs, The HOPP works to ensure that fresh, nutritious produce reaches individuals and families where they live.

Serving communities throughout Delaware and parts of Maryland, The HOPP partners with churches, schools, nonprofits, healthcare organizations, community centers, and local farms to remove barriers to fresh produce. Rather than operating traditional food pantries, The HOPP supplies fresh produce to trusted community partners who distribute it in their neighborhoods, ensuring food reaches people with dignity, accessibility, and care. Because we believe everyone deserves access to nutritious food, families are never asked to provide identification or complete a registration process to receive fresh produce.

In addition to monthly fresh produce distributions, The HOPP develops innovative programs that improve food access and nutrition, including home delivery for individuals with mobility challenges, volunteer engagement opportunities, and live cooking demonstrations that help families confidently prepare fresh produce at home.
