Uganda Lodge Community Projects

Our Mission is to raise funds for promoting education and good health and alleviating poverty for the public benefit of local communities in and around Ntungamo, Kasese and Rubirizi Districts in Western Uganda.

Our UK charity supports a school, vocation classes and a village medical centre for under-privileged children and their families in rural western Uganda.

The children pay only a very small fee to attend and the UK charity heavily subsidises the real cost of providing a good education

We work through a registered Ugandan NGO and they also host international visitors to stay at their volunteer cottages and help in the school and other village projects. Small profits from the accommodation and mini safaris and gorilla trekking trips they run all help educate up to 500 village children.

Alongside volunteering in Uganda we are looking for experienced volunteer supporters in western countries to help with the admin involved in helping to find and organise regular and one-off fundraisers and/or applying to suitable trust funds and small businesses for their support
