    About Us

    Founded in 1984 in Buffalo, MN, the Wise Penny Thrift Shoppe is a nonprofit resale thrift store run by a volunteer board of directors and dozens of weekly volunteers. Wise Penny's 11,000 sq. ft retail store is the largest thrift store in Buffalo. The store provides an enormous selection of clothing and accessories, household items, furniture, home decor, books, toys, craft supplies, sporting goods, electronics and more! Volunteer opportunities include processing and pricing donations, cashiering, merchandising, preparing items for online sale, and cleaning. Volunteer opportunities are available Monday through Saturday as well as Tuesday evenings.
