    The mission of the Muslim Association of Virginia (MAV) is to establish and maintain a vibrant community based on the Qur’an and Sunnah that is pleasing to Allah, through programs that support the religious, social and educational advancement of Muslims we serve. It also includes establishing and strengthening relationships with other Muslim and non-Muslim organizations that share our values.

    MAV is a community-based organization that emphasizes the unity of all persons in the Prince William County area. MAV frequently hosts interfaith events, offers civic and electoral involvement opportunities, perpetually disburses mutual aid to all people regardless of identity, and collaborates with various local, national, and international organizations to provide support to as many communities as possible. MAV has provided free and equitable social services to the community for over three decades. Above all, MAV has been recognized by state and federal agencies as a beacon for human rights through religious, cultural, and social expression.
