    As the name implies, our focus is to demonstrate the compassion of Jesus Christ and, in effect, the Gospel through loving acts to people at their point of need.

    About Us

    1-2 times per month, Compassion Ministries serves a community in Tennessee (usually in the Appalachian mountains) with a mobile food distribution. We work with Second Harvest of East Tennessee to deliver thousands of pounds of food to an average of 300 families at each mobile food pantry. In addition, we serve the Knoxville community with a local pantry every other Thursday. The entire ministry is run completely by wonderful volunteers. Come serve the community with us!
