Sustainable West Seattle

The West Seattle Tool Library is a community-led project to provide pay-what-you-can access to a wide variety of tools, training, and relevant advice. In providing this service, the West Seattle Tool Library aims to inspire folks to participate in community projects, tackle home renovations and basic chores, or take on a grand array of fun and innovative projects.

By using our diverse collection of over 1,300 tools, our membership has successfully grown entire community orchards, built mini-greenhouses, and even just mowed their own lawn. From basic tasks to brilliant innovations, the projects accomplished by the West Seattle Tool Library’s 300+ members have made all the tools in the collection proud to be working again!
