About Us

Sibling Connections Organization Summary:

Sibling Connections provides year-round reconnection opportunities for brothers and sisters who have been separated by their placement in foster care. Our mission is to develop enduring relationships for separated siblings throughout Massachusetts, and to create innovative programs that serve as models for transforming the foster care experience. We are fueled by passionate volunteers, inspired by resilient youth, and supported by strong partnerships.

In addition to a week of residential camp each August offered to separated sibling groups across Massachusetts, we also offer weekend retreats and "Sibling Socials" on weekend afternoons for sibling groups residing in Greater Boston, Greater Springfield, and Greater Lowell/Lawrence.

We are always looking for volunteers who have a passion for working with youth! If you have any of the following experiences and are interested in making a tangible difference in the lives of youth in foster care, please get in touch:

-Experience working with youth (.e.g. camp counselor, teacher, guidance counselor, psychologist, social worker, etc.)

-Medical background (e.g. RN, NP, MD, EMT)

-Previous camp experience (e.g. logistics, management, program delivery)

-Outdoor education experience (e.g. leading hikes, bike rides or any outdoor activities for youth)
