Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Indiana

  • Mission

Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.

    About Us

Habitat for Humanity brings families and communities in need together with volunteers and resources to build decent, affordable housing for low-income families.

Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Indiana is a nonprofit, Christian housing ministry that seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from Lake County, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat invites people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build houses together in partnership with families in need. Volunteers are not required to have experience in construction. All we ask is that you bring your hands, heart and a willingness to help your neighbor.
