Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity

Raising Walls. Raising Spirits.

Through community partnerships and passionate volunteers, Habitat constructs quality homes at a significantly lower cost than government or for-profit organizations. This allows us to provide no-interest, 30-year mortgages to qualified families. To help our families succeed, we offer credit counseling, mentoring, and education programs. Volunteers come in all forms and skill levels. One thing that all Cape Fear Habitat volunteers have in common: they are critically important to furthering the organization’s mission in our region. Through construction, retail, critical home repairs and more volunteers help Cape Fear Habitat serve local, hardworking families each year.

Imagine working alongside a family as they build the house that will become their home. Imagine raising a wall that will become the kitchen where a family cooks their meals. Imagine offering a helping hand as a family recovers from a natural disaster. Imagine giving back to your community alongside your friends and coworkers.

Volunteers can participate in construction, critical home repairs, ReStores and other areas. No experience is needed, and we are grateful for everyone who participates. Help Cape Fear Habitat continue to achieve the mission of creating a world where everyone has a decent place to live!
