  • About Us

The Coalition for Networked Information (CNI), a joint program of the Association of Research Libraries (ARL) and EDUCAUSE, promotes the use of information technology to advance scholarship and education. Over 200 institutions representing higher education, publishing, information technology, scholarly and professional organizations, foundations, libraries, and library organizations, make up CNI’s members. Semi-annual membership meetings bring together representatives of CNI’s constituencies to discuss ongoing and new projects and to plan for future initiatives. CNI provides unique insight into significant trends and facilitates community efforts to advance scholarship through the innovative and strategic application of information technology
