Interfaith Network of Care

About Us

Interfaith Network of Care (INC) is a network of volunteers from various congregations, agencies, and the community at large, trained to respond personally to the everyday needs of people who are homebound and their caregivers. The mission of the Interfaith Network of Care (INC) is to give personal and social support to people coping with chronic conditions, disabilities, isolation, and other age related disabilities and to help the caretakers responsible for their day-to-day well being. INC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, and yearly offer a free monthly caregiver support group overseen by licensed social workers. Volunteers can visit care-receivers in their own homes or help us provide non-emergency medical transportation for clients living in half of Middlesex County (East Brunswick, Helmetta, Old Bridge, South River, Spotswood, New Brunswick, North Brunswick, HIghland Park, Edison, Kendall Park, Metuchen, Milltown and Parlin). Interfaith has been in existence for over a decade with funding from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. We aim to prevent premature institutionalization through work with volunteer caregivers, agencies, and the community-at-large.
