    Over the past 45 years, Neighborhood Housing Services of New Haven has evolved to become a leader in the field of affordable housing development, homebuyer education and coaching, resident leadership development, environmental health, and energy conservation. We revitalize neighborhoods by making distressed homes beautiful, energy-efficient, and affordable, and undertake new construction to increase the supply of owner-occupied housing that is affordable to low- and moderate-income families. Our holistic approach to neighborhood revitalization addresses the needs and preferences of neighborhood residents with the direct services and engagement that our professional staff is committed to providing.
