    The Northeastern Society for Group Psychotherapy is a Regional Affiliate of the American Group Psychotherapy Association. Founded in 1956, its mission is: to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas about group psychotherapy. to encourage the development of sound training in group psychotherapy. to establish and maintain high standards of ethical and professional practice. to disseminate information to interested professionals and the public about group psychotherapy.

    NSGP is open to membership by clinical professionals and students interested in the practice and development of group psychotherapy in the states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
