    About Us

MCBC: Connecting Communities and People Through Cycling:

Since 1998, the Marin County Bicycle Coalition has worked with public and private partners to create 115 miles of bike pathways and lanes, and has brought over $100 million to Marin County for infrastructure improvements.

MCBC: Here to Make Your Ride Safe, Smooth, and Successful

MCBC works to create a safe riding environment through dedicated pathways and bridges, road and infrastructure improvements, and bike and pedestrian friendly policies.

    MCBC: Off-Road

Working with public land managers to expand access to the most inspiring landscapes we know, and to steward the natural resources that enable our riding experiences.

    Safe Routes to Schools

MCBC partners with Transportation Authority of Marin (TAM) to administer its Safe Routes to Schools program, which promotes walking and biking to school. Through education and incentives, Safe Routes reduces traffic and pollution while improving children’s health.
