Trinity Presbyterian Church

Trinity Presbyterian Church is a neighborhood church, seeking to live the gospel in the heart of Tacoma. Practically, this goal takes shape in the form of the Trinity Outreach programs, initiating and cultivating transformational relationships that model hope through education, relief, and community development in the heart of Tacoma.  Our vision is to equip people for a healthy community.

While a church, the Outreach Programs at Trinity have no religious component, and do not discriminate in anyway. Every person is invited to participate.

These programs include:

The Bobcat Learning Center

The Bobcat Learning Center serves Jason Lee Middle school students each day after school with homework help, study skills, mentoring, and enrichment activities. 

TAP (Trinity Afterschool Program)

TAP facilitates one-on-one literacy assistance with 10-12 first and second graders from Bryant Montessori. Students are referred to this year-long program at the invitation by Bryant’s teachers and our TAP staff.  

Tony’s Kitchen

Tony’s Kitchen provides “Soup and Conversation” with a community meal of soup, bread, and cookies for approximately 40 people every Friday afternoon.

Pat’s Closet

Pat’s Closet provides an average of 100 neighbors each week with new and used clothing and household items that are donated by individuals all over Tacoma. 

The Trinity Neighborhood Clinic

The Trinity Neighborhood Clinic is open every Tuesday evening to provide free health care services, typically serving 10-15 people each week. Services range from sports physicals to diabetes assistance. The Clinic exists as a separate nonprofit entity from Trinity Presbyterian Church.

Annual Trinity Outreach Programs 

The following programs have become an integral component of the life of our community as we continue to build relationships with families while addressing collective needs. Camp Trinity, Christmas House, and Back To School Night.

The Bryant Neighborhood Center

Opening in 2020, the Bryant Neighborhood Center will serve as a community hub, to link local residents with high quality resources, where young minds learn and grow, relationships are formed, and basic needs are met, while amplifying residents’ vision for the community.
