TRANScending Barriers Atlanta is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization based in Metro Atlanta that provides direct services and capacity building to the transgender and gender non-conforming community in the area. We are trans-led, trans-focused, and directly impacted in the areas we are servicing. We wholeheartedly feel that every transgender and gender non-conforming person should be afforded the same opportunities, care and treatment that others receive as standard. Being able to empower others to be leaders in the community and build capacity in every person involved with us is paramount. It is the purpose of our mission to alleviate the issues impacting the transgender and gender non-conforming community in Metro Atlanta by building capacity, individually and communally, and providing beneficial resources that uplift a community.
