Seattle Adaptive Sports provides youth and adults with physical disabilities the opportunity to participate & compete in sports and recreation. Participants benefit from the physical activity & socialization that promotes improved self-esteem, physical well-being & independence.
SAS serves over 75 athletes from the Western Washington area, and hosts competitions that draw teams from across the country. Athletes have physical disabilities including low vision, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, amputation, transverse myelitis, spinal cord injuries, and other congenital or acquired conditions affecting their mobility.
Our four signature programs are wheelchair basketball, sled hockey, goalball, and power soccer.
