    The mission of Garvan Woodland Gardens is to be a botanical garden that is a resource center for those desiring to improve their aesthetic, cultural, and scientific knowledge of plants, gardening, landscape architecture and architecture within a Ouachita Mountain, woodland environment.

    About Us

    Garvan Woodland Gardens is woodland botanical garden that encompasses 210-acres. Self-guided walking tours are available to those who wish to explore the gardens. The recomended trail is a little under two miles and has points of interests along the way. There are opportunities for community members to learn about gardening and landscaping in our Volunteer Training Classes that are held year round. Special Events also take place in the gardens such as Dinner and Dancing, Tea Parties, Weddings and Receptions. Garvan Gardens is the ideal place to learn about how plants and animals adapt to the ever-changing environment.
