    The Golden Age Council is a non-profit organization providing services to the senior community of Canon City, CO. We provide a variety of social opportunities to the community such as lunches, morning coffee club and entertainment events. Additionally, the Golden Age Council operates Fremont County Transit which is the only Public Transportation System within Fremont County and services not only the seniors of our community but anyone experiencing transportation needs.

    Fremont County Transit is a nonprofit community-based organization. We are Fremont County's only public transportation system and provide transportation not only to seniors but all ages needing rides. Fremont County Transit is also equipped to serve the handicapped as well as all other non-emergency medical transportation needs.
