About Us

The Berkshire Hills Internship Program (B-HIP) brings together qualified students in arts management and arts professionals in the culturally rich Berkshire County area. Interns from around the world bring their skills and backgrounds to the Berkshires to work in a multitude of administrative capacities.

Students are placed in full time upper-level internships tailored to their interests and skill sets. They have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in development, marketing, film editing, arts education, programming and more.

B-HIP is a graduate college course / internship program that runs each summer. Students can earn 9 graduate credits through Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. The course may also be taken on a non-credit basis, instead, earning a certificate of completion.

With over sixty cultural venues in the county from Tanglewood, Jacob's Pillow, The Clark Art Institute - to Barrington Stage Company, Ferrin Gallery, and MASS MoCA, they range from classic to cutting edge.
