WaterStep is a non-profit water organization in Louisville, KY that trains, equips and mobilizes people to do water, sanitation and health and hygiene work around the world. WaterStep empowers ordinary people to save lives with clean, safe water.

WaterStep provides training, equipment, and project implementation strategies to individuals seeking to addess water quality and sanitation issues in developing countries and disaster environments. WaterStep focuses on the installation of a simple water purification system for the use of communities in developing countries where water and sanitation is an issue. We then train locals how to operate the system, making it a sustainable source of clean water for them.
