The mission of Glen Oaks United Methodist Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world by nurturing faith, sharing God’s love, and empowering our community through worship, service, education, and outreach.

Since 1956, Glen Oaks UMC has been a faithful presence in the Glen Oaks neighborhood of Dallas. Starting from worship in a red barn, we have grown into a vibrant, welcoming community committed to loving God and serving others.

Our mission is to nurture spiritual growth, build strong relationships, and serve our neighbors through worship, education, and outreach. We offer weekly worship, Bible study for all ages, and community service programs including food and diaper drives. We partner with nonprofits like I Look Like Love and Thriving Kinship to extend our impact.

We also host health workshops, youth sports, and support groups, reflecting our dedication to holistic care for our community. Our church is a diverse, multigenerational family passionate about making a positive difference.
