About Us

The aims of The Re-Use Partnership are:

1)Collect, refurbish & sell affordable items for homemaking

2) Provide training, employment & volunteering for people of all abilities

3) Explore & develop links between community & the environment

4) ** Reduce landfill by reuse

TRUP (The Re Use Partnership) was formed in November 2007 as a Charitable Company, Limited by Guarantee based on a social enterprise business model; TRUP is the leading re use organisation in Thurrock and has built a strong reputation for delivering a good service for its customers, clients and partners. This is reflected in the repeat business we continually receive.

The organisation has evolved over a number of years and is now a thriving, well respected Social Enterprise, operating from 6000sq.ft. in East Tilbury on the former Bata Shoe Factory Estate, TRUP collects and redistributes a wide range of re-useable items in Thurrock and the surrounding area and provides training and volunteering opportunities for a wide range of people, including back to work training programmes, individually tailored supported volunteering for clients with learning difficulties and general volunteering for people who just want to be involved with a worthwhile course, all from something that could have ended up in a hole in the ground.
