Mighty Writers

During the school year, our free educational programs run every day at our welcoming and inclusive centers. In the summer, we hold multidisciplinary day camps that run six or eight weeks, depending on the site. Three of our sites are bilingual and cater to Spanish-speaking families. All of our sites host family and community programs on evenings and weekends.

Our Mighty Writers Distribution program, which launched out of necessity during the pandemic, provides fresh and nutritious food at 12 locations and gives out diapers, school supplies, books and other essential resources - all free of charge.

Mighty Writers At Home offers virtual workshops, while Mighty Writers On the Road brings our programs to schools, social service agencies and community centers.

By attending to our students ' academic, emotional, physical and communal needs, Mighty Writers aims to give kids everything they need to become clear thinkers and effective communicators - perfectly equipped to write their own life stories.
