About Us

Artemis Rowing trains athletes in the East Bay to be their best and to compete to be the best locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally. We have students from all over the East Bay, including Oakland Tech, Albany High, Encinal High, Bishop O'Dowd, Alameda High, Skyline, ACLC, ASTI and Piedmont High as well as many middle schools. Our coaches provide a high caliber experience to our middle school, high school, college, and adult rowers by focusing on the balance between the individual and team, training in the full range of boats (1x, 2x, 2-, 4x, 4+, 8+) and teaching a strong and safe rowing stroke.

Artemis Rowing is open to all athletes and takes the responsibility seriously to expand the sport to all in the East Bay- we are proud that our team represents the strength/diversity (be it ethnic, religious, economic, social, and every other) of the East Bay. We are committed to this and using our individual strengths and experiences to making our team and our student athletes race hard and win.
